(Telecompaper) Veon Group has appointed Sergi Herrero as the COO of the new Veon Ventures division effective from September. Herrero will be a member of the Veon’s Group executive committee and report to the chairman and CEO, Ursula Burns. Veon Ventures is a new division set up to grow the telecom operator’s potential market in adjacent sectors of digital services.
