(Telecompaper) HTC has appointed the Orange executive Yves Maitre as its new CEO, effective immediately. He has worked at the French operator over 14 years, most recently as EVP of Consumer Equipment and Partnerships. Cher Wang, who served as CEO for four years, will continue as chair of the HTC board, focusing on the company’s technological shift to VR devices.
